The HSL Badminton League 2025/26 season will kick off this Sunday, 21st September 2025. We are excited to return to the Lycee International de Londres Winston Churchill, in Wembley.

This season, League 1 will feature 14 teams, while League 2 will have 16 teams competing for their respective titles. We’re also pleased to announce the introduction of a new Challengers League for those who missed the opportunity to join Leagues 1 or 2.

League 2 Play off day will be on 7th of September 2025, 4pm to 8pm with maximum of 12 teams.

We wish all participants an exciting and competitive season ahead!

The HSL League 2024/25 Final Day & Awards Ceremony took place on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Lycee International de Londres Winston Churchill, in Wembley.

The event commenced with a special speach conducted by Harrow Counsillor Mr Abbas Murali, aimed at the importance of sports and his life experience as a sports man.

Distinguished guests, including Metropoliton Bank Manager Mr Rahul Panwar, SLMCC President Mr Segu Razeen, Cosmos President Mr Shakir Nawas & KICC President Mr Nafi Jawairdeen, graced the ceremony with their presence, adding prestige to the occasion.

This exclusive ceremony brought together current and past members of the HSL League.

The HSL Badminton teams achieved remarkable success by securing five award trophies during the HSL Badminton Tournament 2024, which took place on January 21st, 2024, at The Dunstable Centre in Dunstable. Numerous teams from Greater Harrow, East London, Luton, Crawley, Leicester, and other regions participated in the event. We were honoured to have Councillor Shahania Choudhury, representing Wealdstone North, as the Chief Guest for the Presentation Ceremony. The tournament featured two categories: Open and Intermediate.

HSL League 2022/23 Awards Ceremony was held on Sunday the 19th March 2023 from 7.00pm to 9pm at the Holywell Community Centre in Watford.

Many notable personalities including former Mayor of Harrow Cllr Ghazanfar Ali and Mr Sameera Dayasekara, who is the second Secratary to the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the UK graced the award the ceremony.

This was an exclusive event for the HSL League Present & Past Members.

The HSL Badminton teams managed to win seven award trophies during the HSL Badminton Tournament 2023, which held yesterday at The Dunstable Centre in Dunstable. Many teams participated from Greater Harrow, East London, Luton, Slough, Crawley, Leicester, etc. Councillor of Loton Cllr. Aslam Khan graced the Presentaion Ceremony as a Cheif Guest. The tournament was held in two categories Open and Intermediate respectively.  The following teams were managed to win trophies.

The HSL Badminton teams managed to win five award trophies during the Badminton Tournament 2022 organised by the Harrow Strokers last weekend. The competition was successfully held at the London Academy Sports Complex in Edgeware with many teams participating from Greater Harrow, Luton, Slough, Crawley, etc. The following teams from HSL Sports Club managed to win trophies.

HSL League 2021/22 Awards Ceremony & Family Dinner held on Sunday the 15th May 2022 from 6.30pm to 10pm at the Sri Lankan Muslim Cultural Centre, Harrow.

A special Health Guide program followed by a Q&A session was held to educate the league players, which also covered basic practical First Aid & CPR and other areas where we should be taken care while playing Badminton.

Many notable personalities including the Deputy Mayor and the former Mayor of Harrow graced the award the ceremony.

This was an exclusive event for the HSL League Present & Past Members and their families which provided the opportunity for the family memebers to witness their husband’s/father’s achievement and receiving the awards.
